Frequently asked questions

How do I connect my database?

Go to Dashboard, click 'Connect Database', select your database type, enter your connection details, and click 'Test Connection'. Once verified, click 'Save'.

Can I connect multiple databases?

Free plan supports 1 connection. Pro plan supports unlimited connections. You can switch between databases from the schema browser.

What makes a good natural language query?

Be specific about what you want. Instead of 'customers', try 'customers who placed orders in the last 30 days'. Reference table and column names when you know them.

How do I cancel a running query?

Click the 'Cancel' button next to the progress indicator. This sends a cancellation signal to the backend and stops execution.

Is my data read-only?

Yes. By default, KwestDB only executes SELECT queries. Write operations (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE) are blocked by the validation layer.
